Paginated report practice exercises
Some extra resources for my paginated report workshop attendees at the Community Summit NA Conference in Charlotte, NC
Last Wednesday and Thursday, I presented about 3 hours of workshop content and practice activities to a surprisingly attentive audience who voluntarily chose to learn about Power BI paginated reports as part of their conference experience. Even more impressive, extraordinary, amazing were the number of people who came up to me afterwards to emphasize that they wanted to try the practice exercises after the session.
If you were one of those people and you’re reading this, I love you. May your sourdough always proof perfectly and your mouse remain charged at all times.
Here’s the links to the session content on my GitHub if you haven’t downloaded it already:
If you’re unfamiliar with GitHub, the download button can be hard to find; allow me to aggressively point it out in a screenshot:
Unfortunately, neither the Community Summit NA website nor GitHub will tolerate the enormous file size that comes with pre-recorded demo videos embedded in a .pptx, so I will need to load those separately to YouTube (coming soon, scout’s honor).
In the meantime, I can recommend the following resources as you continue on your paginated reporting journey:
Caf2Code’s Paginated Report 101 Series: This was our first foray into YouTube videos, and we’re rather proud of it

Feel free to send me a quick message on LinkedIn with any questions and thank you(!) again for your curiosity and enthusiasm about my favorite nerdy subject.
